Vedic Astrology - A Scam or Mystic Ancient tool

Astrology has always been a topic of fascination and skepticism for many. Growing up, I was not particularly drawn to it, neither dismissing nor completely accepting (was just excited).
However, as time passed, I found myself delving deeper into the realms of Vedic astrology, intrigued by its ancient wisdom and profound insights into human existence.

At the core of Vedic astrology lies the birth chart or kundli, meticulously crafted based on the precise time, date, and location of one's birth. Initially, deciphering its intricate patterns seemed like an insurmountable task, but as I embarked on a journey of exploration, I unearthed a treasure trove of knowledge that transcended my expectations.

Contrary to the notion of astrology being a modern-day scam, Vedic astrology traces its roots back to the Dwaparyug, an era preceding the current age of Kaliyug. It was Sage Parashara who was first in human form, foreseeing the challenges of Kaliyug, helped humanity in written form with this invaluable tool for navigating the complexities of life. Before that the knowledge existed as common practice and in verbal form.
While it is undeniable that people may misuse astrology for personal gain, we must not punish / condemn the ancient scriptures and wisdom that underpin its essence.

The foundation of Vedic astrology rests on the Vedas (known to be existed since the existence of earth and life, got a readable form with help of Sage Ved Vyas). Vedas explains the eternal cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, until the soul attains Moksha or liberation from the cycle of Karma. The birth chart serves as a roadmap of one's past, present, and future, offering glimpses into the karmic imprints carried from previous lifetimes.

Central to the understanding of Vedic astrology are the nine planets ( non the scientific ones), each wielding its unique influence on different aspects of human life. These planets, along with the twelve houses of the birth chart, form the canvas upon which the tapestry of our destiny unfolds.

The significance of each house in the birth chart and the corresponding areas of life it governs:

1. First House (Ascendant):
Represents the self, personality, physical appearance, and overall demeanor.

2. Second House:
Deals with wealth, possessions, speech, family, and lineage.

3. Third House:
Governs communication, siblings, courage, short travels, and intellect.

4. Fourth House:
Reflects home, mother, land, property, vehicles, and inner emotional security.

5. Fifth House:
Rules creativity, children, education, speculative ventures, and romantic affairs.

6. Sixth House:
Pertains to health, enemies, conflicts, service, and daily routines.

7. Seventh House:
Signifies partnerships, marriage, business contracts, and significant others.

8. Eighth House:
Deals with transformation, inheritance, occult sciences, longevity, and sudden events.

9. Ninth House:
Governs spirituality, higher education, long-distance travels, beliefs, and fortune.

10. Tenth House (Midheaven):
Represents career, social status, authority, fame, and reputation.

11. Eleventh House:
Reflects gains, income, friendships, social networks, and aspirations.

12. Twelfth House:
Pertains to losses, solitude, spirituality, subconscious mind, hidden enemies, and confinement.

Each house in the birth chart acts as a lens through which we perceive and experience the myriad facets of life. The planetary placements within these houses further illuminate the nuances of our individual journey, offering invaluable insights into our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges.

Leave the predictions aside, that needs master experience and spiritual practice along with study of this. I particularly use astrology to make connection with human behaviour.
Even after a basic understanding of vedic astrology and accurate birth related details, an astrologer can tell about the behaviour of the person to be studied. When you see people behaving different towards relations, money, greed, education, power, that is because these 12 house have different planet placements which makes one human different from other in different phases of life.

In conclusion, Vedic astrology stands as a beacon of ancient wisdom, guiding us on our quest for self-discovery and spiritual evolution. While skepticism may linger, delving deeper into its teachings unveils a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of the cosmos and human existence.
